Mentors

We consider mentorship an essential component of a work-integrated learning experience. As such, we are committed to providing participating students the chance to connect with our network of talented mentors across Canada.

Participating institutions will be provided with a list of mentors chosen from over 100 mentors in our network who will be able to provide meaningful insight and guidance to students.

Luki Danukarjanto

Luki is a former management consultant who has found his passion in helping others reach their potential. He is the current chief career catalyst and founder of FOCUS.inspired as well as a career coach in residence and mentor at the HUB at the University of Toronto. Luki’s goal is to provide career success to all, by weaving mentorship into the fabric of society, starting by making Toronto the mentorship capital of the world.


Andrew Wadsworth

Andrew is a transformational leader with 10+ years’ success conceptualizing go-to-market strategies, building high performing sales teams, and streamlining key operational domains to drive market impact and expansion of organizations. He is currently an Account Manager at Lighthouse Labs building the best possible team that performs at the highest level.Throughout his career Andrew has been able to lead people through some of the most complex and toughest scenarios. He is an articulate communicator with a proven track record of using consultative sales techniques and strategies to influence, negotiate, gain commitment, and develop relationships.


Dorothy Engelman

Named as one of Canada's Most Powerful Women by the Women's Executive Network (WXN), Dorothy Engelman combines the business savvy of the Fortune 500-connected digital entrepreneur with the passion and heart of an inspirational storyteller. in 1999, after a long career as a TV producer at CBC, CTV and Newsworld and TVO, she co-founded Toronto-based Q Media Solutions. Q Media has created programming, commercials and integrated content for over 160 clients including, CTV, TVO, and The Globe and Mail, Plan Canada, Barrick, HSBC, BMO, Purpose and DLC. Dorothy has specialized in health care and the NFP sector working with everyone from SickKids to UHN on patient centred care, to mental health education for Sunnybrook and Sheena's Place.


Vickram Agarwal

Mr. Agarwal is a highly certified marketing technologist, currently leading the Black Rock Marketing Group as Partner & Managing Director. Based in Toronto, they work with global brands like Hershey, Canada Dry, Energizer, Nestle Health Science, Kraft Heinz, Mattel and DAP to name a few. Raised in India and the Middle East, educated in the UK, he started his marketing career with General Motors in Dubai. In 2011, he founded Stroke Consulting, a Strategy & Digital Marketing Consultancy with clients across Canada, the U.S, Middle East & U.K and a portfolio that included brands like GMC, Chevrolet, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Fiat, Abarth, Opel, MasterCard. In addition to being a business and digital leader, he serves as an Advisory Board Member to Canadian Girls Baseball, is an Advisory Council Member of the Harvard Business Review and is the creator of Daddy’s Digest, an online platform with over a million users that bridges the parenting gap through the creation of expert and user generated content.


Alexandra Salamis

Nominated for Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women Award in 2018, Alex is passionate about helping entrepreneurs, managers and executives to grow in confidence and become happier, more influential leaders. She has dedicated herself to coaching organizations and individuals in sustainable change, ensuring that the next generation of leaders is prepared to lead with conviction, empathy and courage. Her skills include team building, leadership development, process innovation and cultural transformation among other skills.”
